Lorraine Schroeder

Lorraine joined the Kansas Federal Public Defender in 2004. She graduated from Wichita State University with an Associates in Science – Legal Assistant. Before joining the office, Lorraine worked for 6 years as a legal assistant in the civil-litigation department at Koch Industries. Before that, Lorraine worked as a legal assistant in civil-defense litigation.

In addition to her duties as a paralegal, Lorraine trains CJA panel attorneys and paralegals, as well as Second Chair participants, on how to collect criminal history. She is also fluent in Japanese.

When she’s not at work, Lorraine spends time with her family and enjoys attending concerts and sporting events.
