Mitch Biebighauser

Mitch joined the Kansas Federal Public Defender in 2018. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2011 and received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2014. Before joining the office, Mitch was an associate attorney at Bath and Edmonds, P.A., a criminal-defense firm in Overland Park, Kansas.

Mitch is an active member of the Kansas Bar Association and Kansas Bar Foundation. He has previously served as the President of the Kansas Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. In 2014 and 2021, the Kansas Bar Association honored Mitch with the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.
