Bailey Kennedy

Bailey Kennedy joined the Kansas Federal Public Defender in 2024. Before joining the office, Bailey was an Assistant Public Defender with the Alaska Public Defender Agency.

Bailey earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2022 and her undergraduate degree from Macalester College in 2014. She began her legal career with the Midwest Innocence Project and the Harvard Human Rights Clinic. In addition to her legal work, Mary served in the Peace Corps in Ghana for two and a half years. 

Outside of work, she enjoys baking fresh bread and training her dogs.
